Going Green: The National Central Library Newsletter is Moving Fully Digital

For over five decades, the National Central Library Newsletter has served as a bridge between Taiwan’s libraries and the global community. Our latest edition covers exciting milestones, from expanding our reach in Oceania and Hawaii to hosting international experts like Queensland’s Vicki McDonald. We also celebrate the preservation of Taiwan’s intellectual history through the significant manuscript donations of I-Chiu Liao and Paelabang Danapan, alongside updates on the 2025 Taiwan Reading Festival and our latest digitalization agreements.

To better serve our readers and support global sustainability, we are excited to announce that the newsletter will transition to a digital-only format starting in 2026. By phasing out print copies, we aim to streamline our communications and reduce our environmental footprint.
