The NCL participated in the 2015 Taipei International Book Exhibition (TIBE) on February 11 to 16. The NCL booth, arranged under the theme "Flipping, Stunning Library," displayed a variety of public library and libraries’ cultural and creative products published in 2013. It also publicized the extensive achievements of the NCL in promoting reading and international cooperation. On the opening day, NCL Director General Tseng Shu-hsien represented the library in receiving a donation of about 1,000 books displayed at the fair this year. These included volumes donated by the New Zealand Pavilion organizer Publishers Association of New Zealand, represented by former President Kevin Chapman, and the Hong Kong Pavilion, represented by the pavilion's Organizing Committee Chairman Dr. Lee Ka Kui.

Mr. Chapman also visited the NCL booth with Wellington Mayor Celia Wade-Brown, Creative New Zealand Chief Executive Stephen Wainwright, and others to congratulate the library. They also presented a performance of Maori songs.

During the book fair, the NCL arranged the following activities:
1. Library Forum: The forum consisted of two sessions on "Looking at National Reading Tastes" and "Taiwan Publishing Trends" on changing reading tastes and habits and the status of publishing in Taiwan. The sessions were joined by about 250 people from the domestic and foreign library communities and publishing industries.

2. Lectures: Renowned New Zealand children's book author, Joy Cowley, gave a keynote speech on "The Healing Power of Story," in which she shared her view that a good book can have a spiritual and emotional healing power on children, a theme that resonated positively with the more than 300 people that filled up the audience hall.
