A distinguished guest from afar-The eldest Princess of Swaziland King visits the NCL

In the sunny summer breeze, royal guests from our allies - Swaziland Kingdom, HRH Princess Sikhanyiso Dlamini and HRH Princess Phumelele Dlamini, a party six persons accompanied by HE Njabuliso B. Gwebu, Ambassador to Taiwan of the Kingdom of Swaziland visited the National Central Library. Princess Sikhanyiso Dlamini (6th from left), the Princess Phumelele Dlamini (6th from right) and Director-general Tseng Shu hsien (5th from left) at the National Central Library Rare Books Room NCL Director-general, Tseng Shu hsien personally welcomed them at the front door and offered a bouquet of flowers.It is the first visit of Princess Sikhanyiso Dlamini at the invitation of the government of the Republic of China (Taiwan). She hopes that through her visit, she can have an actual and personal understanding of the arts and communication industry in Taiwan to strengthen bilateral cultural exchanges. Her Royal Highness is ardently involved in the social projects of her country. She sponsored the Swaziland National Library Association showing considerable importance to the educational role of the library. She was deeply impressed by the development and progress of the National Central Library services and facilities. This will also help in promoting the development of the librarianship in her country, Director-general Tseng Shu hsien and Princess Sikhanyiso Dlamini both expressed the hope that the two countries foster opportunities for further cooperation and promote understanding and appreciation of each other's culture.
