May Fourth Literary Day Celebration

In commemoration of the May Fourth Movement, Literary Day has been celebrated for the last 61 years. For the 100th year of the Republic of China, the Chinese Writers and Artists Association and National Central Library held the May Fourth Literary Day Celebration on May 4th at NCL’s Conference Hall. In keeping with tradition, the celebration was simple yet solemn, and reflected the initial passion that writers had during the May Fourth Movement. Vice-chairman of the National Cultural Association Helen Lin, NCL Director-general Tseng, Senior presidential advisor Shen Hsueh-yung, and prominent author Zhong Dingwen were invited to present Honorary Literature and Art Award.
