"Recording Local Culture Images - Sunrise in Taitung" Video-Photo Exhibition

Taitung has a multicultural inclusive style. It preserves many characteristic simplicity and natural landscape extending along the Taitung coastline which likes a most attractive emerald necklace decorating Taiwan. If you want to read more in depth about Taitung, you are welcome to find it in the National Central Library Arts and audio-visual Center. National Cnetral Library Center for Arts and audio-visual materials will hold a photo video exhibition on “Sunrise in Taitung” from April 1st to May 31st. It will include documentaries, old photographs of Taitung, Hualien and Taitung Railway images, lanterns made by cotton fabric, etc. A workshop will be organized inviting well-known film directors: Yu Kanping, Hakka documentary film director, PENG Qiyuan, Han Bifeng and others to share their experiences about Taitung and vedio-photo making. Date & Time of Exhibition: April 1st to May 31st, 2011; everyday from10 am to 6 pm (closed on Mondays and national holidays).
