Ms. Hong Peng, Vice President of Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication (BIGC) led the Institute's news publishing, journalism and communication scholars to participate in the "Graphic Communication Arts Department of National Taiwan University of Arts" seminar held in Taiwan. Accompanied by Professor Feng-nien Han, Head of the Department, they visited the various services of the NCL and learned the achievements of the collections digitization. When Vice president Peng and his entourage visited the Rare Books room, she expressed her joy to have seen the "Historic records of the east capital of the Northern Song" because this book has the earliest copyright statement in the history of Chinese publishing. It is indeed very precious.
