2023 Taiwan Reading Festival Call for Posters

Theme of Poster: Topics include but not limited to activities concerning reading promotion, reading education, reading space furnishing or remodeling, etc.

1. About the Activity
   
   The "Taiwan Reading Festival" is a national event organized by the National Central Library (NCL) of Taiwan (R.O.C.) aiming at promoting reading for all. Every year, the Festival is held on the first weekend of December, and the NCL intends to invite libraries, schools, publishers, cultural and educational institutions, and non-governmental organizations from all over Taiwan to participate.
   
   In considering the value of international culture and best practice experiences exchanges, the NCL decided to have a special International Poster ZONE to display posters of other libraries from different countries all over the world. We welcome libraries to introduce their reading programs through poster. Selected posters will be displayed both on site on the activity days and online at the official Website of the NCL’s "2023 Taiwan Reading Festival."

2. Libraries Invited
   Submissions are invited from all types of libraries, preferably present for the institution.

3. Theme of Poster
   Topics include but are not limited to activities concerning reading promotion, reading education, reading space furnishing or remodeling, etc.

4. Poster Specification
   Vertical (Width: 841mm, Height: 1189mm), 300 dpi or above, File format: PDF, Max file size: 100MB. Printout will be done by NCL.

5. Submission Deadline: August 31, 2023

6. Poster Submission
   Participant Registration Form is available at the official Website of the event (https://guide.ncl.edu.tw/event/nclposter/). Please fill out the Form and upload with the poster.

7. Selection of Posters and Results Announcement
   All submitted posters will be reviewed by a committee composed of scholars and experts from the library and information science domain, and the results will be announced on the official activity Website on October 5, 2023. The top 10 posters elected by the committee will be invited to come to Taiwan.

8. Special Award for Winners to come to Taiwan
   One person of the library of the elected Top 10 Posters will be invited to participate the events. We will provide accommodation and meals during their stay in Taipei.
