The NCL attends the 76th Annual Meeting of the worldwide Association for Asian Studies

The 76th annual meeting of the worldwide Association for Asian Studies (AAS) was held on March 16-19 at the Sheraton Centre Hotel in Toronto, Canada. NCL’s Center for Chinese Studies and its cooperating partner, the Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation for International Scholarly Exchange (CCKF), participated in the book exhibition and displayed 385 outstanding titles of publication (414 volumes) in Chinese and Taiwanese studies published in the last three years. 

Library representatives to the meeting included Deputy Director-General Ying-mei Wu and CCS Liaison Division Head Wen-te Huang. After the meeting, the books on display were donated to the Cheng Yu Tung East Asian Library at the University of Toronto. The donation was made by Deputy Director-General Wu and CCKF Executive Director Yun-han Chu; the donation was received by University of Toronto Chief Librarian Larry P. Alford.
