The Collection Division Director Yannick Grandcolas of Le Bibliotheque Francaise and Madame Grandcolas, and Mlle. Valentine Gigaudaut of the French Association in Taiwan visited NCL and met with Director-general Tseng Shu hsien for a discussion of the potential cooperation between two libraries. Director Grandcolas visited NCL rare book stack, watched the recovering procedures of classics, and talked with NCL special Collection Director Hsiao-min Yu about the possibility of cooperation in doing cataloging of rare books between two libraries. In addition, NCL Acquisition Division Director Lu exchanged extensively the ideas with Mr. Grandcolas about his desire to know more about E-publication system.
