Leading by professors Shui-feng Soong and Ling-ling Lai of Tamkang University, a representative team of 22 scholars from the mainland China who have attended the 2012 “the 11th Cross-strait Conference on Library and Information Studies” co-hosted by the Association of Library and Information Education, Republic of China (Taiwan) and the Department of Information and Library Science at Tamkang University, visited NCL and they have been warmly welcomed by the Director-general Tseng Shu hsien. Director-general Tseng Shu hsien (6th from right) presented the NCL publications to the Head of visiting team Professor Chien-min Chen who received the gift on behalf of visiting members.
