A six-person delegation of cultural experts from mainland China's Gansu Provincial Library and Gansu Art Academy visited the NCL. The group was led by Chairman Dong Yinglan of the Complete Works of the Four Treasuries Committee at Gansu Provincial Library and accompanied by Soochow University Library Downtown Campus Director Hu Chia-wei and main library Secretary Huang Shu-chen. They were received by NCL Deputy Director-general Wu Ying-mei, Special Collection Division Director Yu Hsiao-ming, and International Publication Exchange Department Director Armande Liao. The group was deeply impressed by the NCL's services, facilities, and achievements in rare book collection management and digitization.
