University Librarian at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) Paula Kaufman, director of UIUC's Mortenson Center for International Library Programs Prof. Barbara J. Ford and assistant director Susan Schnuer visited the NCL, where they were warmly received by NCL Director-general Karl Min Ku and Deputy Director-general Wu Ying-mei. The NCL briefed the visitors on major programs underway at the library, including the large bibliographic database system, national sustainable collection and service platform for e-publications; large bibliographic database systems; and the E-Learning Campus.
