Ms. Xin Li, assistant librarian for strategic cooperation at Cornell University Library, visited the NCL and toured the Special Collection Division. NCL staff showed her the Chinese Rare Book Catalog and provided an English introduction and signing materials for becoming a cooperative organization of the Chinese Rare Book Catalog. Ms. Li will be in Taiwan for two years and said that during this time she is very interested in developing cooperation with the NCL, including in the areas of knowledge support services for interdisciplinary research, the arrangement of experts to visit Taiwan for exchanges, and research on creative knowledge environments. She also provided materials introducing the development direction of Cornell to 2015.
