Ms. Valentina de Monte, director of the Chinese department at the Lyon Public Library in France, visited the NCL periodical center and Rare Books Room accompanied by Special Collection Division Director Yu Hsiao-ming. Lyon Public Library is the largest public Library in France and it has a sizeable Chinese collection. The two sides exchanged views on rare book bookcases, digitalization, and cooperative development and sharing of Chinese resource.
