Deputy Director Tingqi Wang of Shandong Provincial Department of Culture (SPDC), Director Shanchang Wen of Foreign Cultural Exchange Division of SPDC, Deputy Director Yanliang Wang of General Office of SPDC, Mr. Zhangzhu Wei from Shandong Provincial Taiwan Affairs Office, Shandong Library Director Qingdong Feng and Shandong Art Museum Director Yanchun Liu came to visit the NCL. The delegation, besides visiting the Rare Books Room and facilities on each floor of the library, had a seminar to exchange and discuss on the preservation of rare books, the current situation of cultural and creative products, the promotion of rare book and special collections as well as experiences on organizing Chinese studies and various seminars. Hopefully, in the future, both libraries will continue to cooperate in areas related to the rare book union catalog and other fields of interest providing people around the world and researchers a wealth of resources.
